Networking
Getting together with others who share similar workplace experiences is always a good thing. This year, you’ll find ample time built into the Conference schedule to network with over 500 of your peers—as you discuss project ideas and business processes, and commiserate about failures and frustrations. Breakfast Roundtables on Saturday and Sunday morning will give you the opportunity to propose a topic that concerns you and the in-house world, then talk about it with other attendees in an informal setting. Wear comfy shoes to Megan Lane Patrick’s Networking Workshop on the Friday you arrive, because you’ll be up and out of your chair as you meet your peers and exchange business cards. Megan will show you how to set personal goals for the Conference and find solutions while you’re there, and you’ll create your own advisory network to follow up with after you leave. Then, immediately following Megan’s workshop, relax and sip on some cocktails at The Opening Happy Hour sponsored by The Creative Group. This is your chance to test out Megan’s advice as you meet and mingle, make some new friends, and grab some dinner. |
